All products arrived in BEAUTIFUL pearly purple boxes which would be beautiful to give as a gift. As I quickly approach 30 I have decided that its time that I get into a good routine to wash, and treat my skin, both for acne (because I still break out) and for aging as the time will quickly arrive when I will wish that I had done it sooner. The first product that I tried out as it would be the first step in the process was the Refreshing Foaming Gel Cleanser.

Mia Mariu Product Photo 3.fwI love foaming cleansers as I have always felt they do the best job in getting my face cleaned, this is a personal thought so I was so excited to see that they had that same feature offered in their cleanser. This is an awesome product that has a nice, clean and refreshing scent to it. With this product because of the high quality of it, it only takes a little to get a good lather and wash your entire face. So this 4 oz bottle will last a while. I have been using it for 2+ weeks now and they still seem to be full! Here is a little about the product from their product catalog:

Once I have washed my face at night I continue on with my routine and follow up with the Anti-Aging Brightening Serum. This product does call for morning and night use however in the morning I am trying to get out of the house as quickly as possible and sleep in as late as possible so for me time does not permit (or I do not allow it to permit) doing this in the morning.  The Anti-Aging Brightening Serum is an awesome product that feels wonderful and leaves your skin looking and feeling wonderful, especially after the amazing cleanser. My daughter loves Doc McStuffins and this is something that you can almost always have on for my little one. If your little one is anything like mine you will love to know that there is a new Doc McStuffins DVD that hit the market on May 7, 2013! This is the Time for Your Check Up!. This is an awesome DVD for anyone that loves this show!

Synopsis:   “Doc McStuffins: Time for Your Check Up!,” the second DVD compilation for Disney Junior’s hit animated TV series “Doc McStuffins,” will debut May 7, 2013.  A must-add to the family viewing collection, the DVD comes packaged with 5 fun-filled episodes and a FREE growth chart. 2012′s #1 cable TV series in Kids 2-5, “Doc McStuffins” tells the story of a nurturing six-year-old girl who heals stuffed animals and broken toys out of her backyard playhouse clinic.  Assisting Doc at the clinic are her trusty team of lovable stuffed animals including: Stuffy, an overly proud dragon; Lambie, her  cuddly best friend lamb; Hallie, a jolly and caring  hippo nurse; and Chilly, a snowman who spends a lot of time getting check-ups at the clinic.  Whether it’s a case of loose stitching, low batteries or a blow-up toy who has sprung a leak, Doc and her pals are always there to lend a helping hand, while imparting to young viewers the importance of taking care of oneself and others.

If you have not tried an episode of Doc McStuffins check out this little clip and see how adorable this show is.

The Suggested Retail Price is $19.99 U.S./$24.99 Canada. You and your little one wont want to stock watching Doc, Lamby, Stuffy, Chilly and Halley as they take on new patients and help each other out. This is also a great show to teach kids that doctors can be fun and very helpful. They have an episode about the eye doctor and dentist that we make sure our little one watches before each visit to reminder her that they are just trying to help.


Overall I am sure you will be VERY impressed!

Thie time around I received the cutest Smart Snacks® Shape Sorting Cupcakes. These are the perfect toys to help your childrend learn their shapes and colors. Its also a fun puzzle for their hand eye cordination to get the cupcake put together and in the proper spot. Here is the product description from the companies website:

They created these the perfect size for little hands, they can easily get a hold of them and do what they want as far as putting them together and adding them to the pan.

Then we will sit with her and ask her for certain color ones to help her work on identifing the colors. These are amazing and have multiple uses. In addition the learning the kids would LOVE to also use them in their play kitchen. Once a week it seems like we have cupcakes “in the oven” before we can play with them.

I really like the small size as it does not take up that much room and you can put it almost anywhere! We received the skin sensitive product with no scent. My daughter has VERY sensitive skin and has had no issues with this awesome detergent. I was also very pleased to see the HE Safe logo on the bottle. You will be pleased I am sure, just as I was that the Ingredients in this laundry detergent is: Purified water, natural and biodegradable plant-based surfactants (coconut and/or palm), mild food-grade preservative!  WOW thats it! and it does an awesome job at the few loads that I have done since receiving the product.

Here is a little about the product from their website, “Life’s biggest laundry demands come from its littlest miracles. Effectively remove those stubborn stains with our Baby Free & Clear Detergent. It’s all natural, hypoallergenic and 100% scent free with no masking agents for a comfortable clean. This is a great deal for the quality of product that you are receiving! No matter what I washed it came out clean and ready to go again. In addition it did not fade my clothes. I recently had an opportunity to work with Zymbol and try out of of their interactive jewelry piece. This is a very unique item with an amazing story behind it. To really appreciate this item you need to know a little about the company and the owners:

The Story

Zymbol™ was ‘accidentally’ created when company Founder Sally Short was doodling, and wrote down the phrase ‘LOVE IS ALL U NEED’ stacking each letter on top of the next, and then adding a peace sign to complete the design. Sally then sent the design off to be cast as a ‘Love and Peace’ pendant. But something happened when the Short family received the pendant; they randomly saw it sitting sideways and noticed a ‘K’ popping out. “There is no ‘K’ in the phrase LOVE IS ALL U NEED,” commented Sally’s Daughter Merida. That motivated the family to see what other letters they could find and they ended up uncovering EVERY LETTER of the ALPHABET and EVERY NUMBER hidden within the symbol! The Short Family decided to create a line of Interactive Empowerment Jewelry based around the symbol. They named it Zymbol as it is a symbol that represents all letters A through Z.

I received the Women’s Large Pewter Pendant which came in a beautiful box and a message card so that you can let the person you give the gift/necklace to know the message that you intended to share. They completed a card with “Share The Love”  which all letters of this statement can be found in this beautiful necklace.

Once I opened up the box I was super excited to make sure that you could really find all the letters within this one necklace. So I began the search…. sure enough just as the legend shows you can make all the letters of the alphabet appear.

The best part about this amazing piece of jewelry is that whenever you purchase a Zymbol, they gift one to a Children’s Hospital. I think this is amazing and love to support companies that give back to the community around them, especially children.

In addition to the cards I also ordered some return address labels that match the cards and some fun valentine’s day stickers (Valentine Stickers — Full of Love) for my daughter to use to decorate the envelopes and other things that she wants.

Hair CareThey have an amazing product and I was beyond excited and happy about the products I received. Here is a more detailed look at the products I received and what I think about them.

hbl Hydrating Shampoo, which “gently cleanses, moisturizes and smoothes hair of all types. Keratin Amino Acids naturally repair and strengthen
hair, adding elasticity. Panthenol thickens and moisturizes strands while silk protein seals and smoothes the cuticle. Unique surfactants guarantee sudsy
foaming action. This rich cleansing formula can also be used as a hydrating facial and body wash.”

I loved the amazing smell of this product. A little goes a very long way, so a bottle will last you a long time. The high quality products clean and leave your hair feeling wonderful. I really enjoyed this shampoo and really did experience a more clean feel to my hair. The hbl Hydrating Shampoo is available in 60ml, 300ml and 1000ml sizes and retails for $6.95, $29.95 and $89.95 (USD).

hbl Hydrating Conditioner, which “soothes, moisturizes and protects hair without excessive weight or leaving a greasy feeling. For all hair types, it

This was the perfect next step after the hydrating shampoo, as I would apply it to my hair I was so surprised as to how easy it was to apply and run through my hair. It helped remove the tangles and left my hair feeling and looking amazing. After my shower I was able to easily brush out my hair and did not have any tangles. It left my hair smooth, shiny and feeling healthier. The hbl Hydrating Conditioner is available 60ml, 300ml and 1000ml sizes and retails for $7.95, $32.95 and $99.95.

I also received the most amazing, hbl Hair Masque which, “intensely smoothes, conditions and protects even the most challenging hair without weighing it down or leaving a greasy feeling. It’s well suited for all hair types and can be used with or without heat, depending on the level of conditioning desired. Keratin Amino Acids naturally repair and strengthen hair, adding elasticity while cetyl esters work to smooth, repair and seal damaged cuticle.”

This is the perfect added moisture to your hair, it is applied after the shampoo process and is left in for a couple of minutes. The masque comes with a nice little comb to help you make sure that it is fully applied to your hair. I was very surprised as to how easy it was to apply and how nice my hair felt after I rinsed it out.  Once you rinse it out then you apply the conditioner.  The hbl Hair Masque is available in 60ml and 200ml sizes and retails for $9.95 and
$39.95 (USD). I am hooked on this amazing product!

hair care 2Overall I am VERY happy with this amazing hair care system. Currently you can purchase all three pieces mentioned above for $62.90, but as I mentioned before a little goes a long way. I have been using these products for a little over two weeks now and I can tell you that you can not even notice any of the product is missing. My hair looks and feels better. I am very impressed with the quality of these amazing products and would suggest that you give them a try the next time you are in the market for some new products.
