Over the past few years as I watched my daughter grow up, become more and more inquisitive and have a desire to learn I realized how important it is to provide her with tools to do just that, LEARN!  So I was excited to learn about The Learning Journey and the wide range of education products that they offer. If you have never heard about them here is a little from their company website.

The Learning Journey has been designing and manufacturing an exclusive line of award-winning children’s interactive educational products. All products at The Learning Journey encourage learning and develop confidence as they enhance a child’s potential. While browsing their site and trying to find a product that I liked and I thought that my daughter would enjoy I came across the Telly The Teaching Time Clock and thought, WOW this would be amazing! So many people don’t know how to tell time anymore because of our cell phone and technology, so I wanted to make sure that she did!

Clock 1When this arrived I have to tell you that Telly The Teaching Time Clock really exceeded my expectation. It was beyond cute, colorful and had a lot to offer. Check out this adorable face on Telly The Teaching Time Clock.

Clock 3

I loved that the number are clear, easy to read, and include the minutes as well as the hours so that a child can visualize the time. Telly The Teaching Time Clock comes with two different modes of play.

Clock 5You can decide to have Telly The Teaching Time Clock tell you which time you have moved the hands to, or you can play a game where you find the time that Telly The Teaching Time Clock is telling you. Either way its a great exercise to teach your little one time.

Clock 4I love that they even added a light at the top of Telly The Teaching Time Clock. This reminds me of the snooze button on an adult alarm clock. Overall I was very pleased with the Telly The Teaching Time Clock and would suggest it for anyone that would like to teach their little one how to tell time on an actual clock. Here is the product description from the company website:

Let Telly The Teaching Time Clock help your child learn to tell both analog and digital time using two quiz modes. In the learning mode, Telly teaches time in five minute increments when his hands are moved, updating his LCD screen. In the quiz mode, Telly asks your child to move the hands on his face to match the time displayed on his screen. Telly is also a real working clock. Learning to tell time has never been so much fun. Requires three AA batteries (included). Ages 3+ years.

Don’t worry, if you have a little boy they have an option that is designed with primary colors. They don’t have to learn on a pink and purple clock.

Telly The Teaching Time Clock is priced at $27.99, to learn more about this product and others that The Learning Journey has to offer check out their website, also be sure to follow them on facebook and twitter. by the way either would work perfect…. Personally I would want the (boys) yellow, blue, white etc. – then again the (girls) pink / purple would be perfect for either of my nieces; I havent been able to afford to get them a gift. the last few years
