This time around I received one of their new toys, the Primary Science Plant & Grow Set. With Spring almost here this is the perfect time to provide your child with the ability to plant and grow flowers and veggies. My daughter and I were so excited to get this set home. Once we got it home and open I was very amazed at the amazing contents in this kit.
This kit is intended for kids 3-9, and would be great in an Easter Basket or Birthday Present!

We quickly got everything out of the box and started reading the amazing options on the activity cards. One of the activities that I would like to do is, Herbalicious!
What to do:Using the trowel, fill the three pots almost to the top with soil.Plant the seeds of three herbs in separate pots. Cover the seeds with soil.Then, write on the plant markers with a dry-erase marker to identify the seeds thatyou planted. Place the markers in the soil.Fill the watering can with water. Pour enough water into the pots to make the soil wet.Put the pots near a window with plenty ofsunlight, and water daily.Make predictions for the following questions:• Which seeds will sprout first?• What do you think the herbs will look like?Fresh herbs look much different than the driedones you find in your spice cabinet.Check the seeds every day. After a week, theseeds should sprout into herbs. Smell the herbs.Then, tear off small pieces of each, and comparethe tastes. Which one do you like best?
