I am so excited to be working with them.  When searching their site I have found so many items that look to be a lot of fun that I know my daughter would love.

Wanting to try something different I selected the Hands-on Discovery Lab Product Description/Details from website

Take the mess out of hands–on science investigations! Durable viewing box features built–in gloves to encourage even your most hesitant young scientists to take a closer look. Build a worm farm, make gooey slime, or fill it with anything that deserves exploration.

  • Keeps investigations contained and visible within the box
  • Supports hands–free observational viewing when you cap the hand holes
  • Cleans easily—latex–free gloves can be removed for rinsing, and the entire box is soap, and water-washable
  • Lab box measures 14″L x 9″W x 8″H and features a ventilated lid
  • Grades PreK+

This is an awesome fun toy to allow your child to explore and play without the mess. My daughter hates to get dirty so I thought this would be a great way to allow her to try new things without all the mess and fuss of having her use her hands. We decided to make home made slime (post to follow) and put it in the discovery lab. Then we placed plastic animals and shapes inside to have her search for them. As she found them she told us what each one was. It was a lot of fun and kept her busy for hours

The Discovery Lab comes with the lab box which is made of nice clear plastic which is very easy to clean once you are done with your adventure. You receive two latex–free gloves that lock into place on the outside to insure that the mess stays in. Plus you receive a lid for the lab which is also clear, it does have air holes for if you decide to put an animal or insect into the lab. You also receive to hole covers so when the gloves are not installed you can cover the glove holes and keep the contents inside.

This is an awesome lab that would be perfect for any child wanting to explore. The Hands on Discovery Lab is designed and geared for Pre-K kids 4 and up but can be enjoyed by kids (and parents) of all ages. Our family had a great afternoon with this awesome product. We are excited about all the new adventures that we can have thanks to this lab.

With Christmas quickly approaching I would strongly encourage everyone to check out Learning Resources for toys/games/gifts for the kids on your list. Give them an awesome product that will encourage learning. This Hands-On Discovery Lab retails for $36.99 and can be purchased on their website.
