How to Register for an IBM Professional Certification Exam

The time has come for you to put the finishing touches on your IBM certification. You put in a lot of time on your job, gaining valuable experience, and you have likely been through the rigorous training courses that are offered. Hopefully, you have also practiced for your exam with Testslive exam engines so that you will know what to expect when you sit for the proctored exam. The next step for you is to register to take the test. The following information will help make the process easy for you.

Prior to registration, you should gather up the following items: your full name as you would like for it to appear on your certification certificate, your candidate/testing ID number, phone number, mailing address, the name of the company you work for, fax number (if needed), exam number, and method payment. Before you register, you should obviously know which exam you are registering for. Take extra care to accurately enter your exam number.

Candidates can now register for IBM Workplace, Lotus, WebSphere Portal, and Cognos exams on the Prometric website, where you can also locate an authorized Prometric test center that is most convenient to you. If you pay by credit card, you will be able to immediately schedule an exam time. If paying with a check, you cannot schedule an IBM test until the payment is received and confirmed.
